You will support and lead the core finance team (Corporate, R&D and G&A) in financial planning, investor support, financial planning tool administration, ad-hoc analysis and audits, helping us ensure accuracy and integrity in all that we do.Job DutiesLead a team and be responsible for our corporate, R&D and G&A finance functions. This will entail consolidation of company P&L, ownership of balance sheet and cash flow forecasting, long term strategic planning, finance business partnering and internal and external financial reporting.Lead monthly variance analysis (budget versus actuals) while providing best practices, mentoring analysts, and crafting messaging unique to various stakeholders.Provide data-driven support and partnership to internal stakeholders using financial and operational modeling to answer complex questions.Work on a variety of cross-functional projects including compensation modeling, facilities planning, ROI and driver based analysis, capacity planning, etc.Help implement and be the system administrator for our financial planning tool, Adaptive.Become a data-champion for our corporate data structure, provide auditing, training, and mentoring in all things data to help ensure uniformity and integrity to our corporate data.Help prepare materials for senior management and investor communications and reporting.Perform other ad-hoc analysis as assigned.Identify and drive process improvements.Requirements8+ years of FP&A experience (both corporate and business partner-facing roles) with a solid grasp of financial and accounting concepts. Including 2+ years of people management experience.Bachelor's degree or similar in finance, business, economics, math or related field.Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations, timelines, and deliverablesExceptional Microsoft Excel manipulation, modeling and auditing skills.Extraordinary attention to detail, proven record of robust reconciliation and variance analysis, analytical rigor and an orientation toward data-driven management and decision making.Solid understanding of data structures, flows and dependencies.Expertise in executive presentation and communication skills.Enthusiasm for collaboration, commitment to accuracy, integrity, and a solutions-oriented mindset.CompensationThe expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $151,500 to $181,750. This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.**Please note that this position does not accept sponsorship candidates at this time.
