CHI Memorial Health Partners in partnership with CHI Memorial Hospital is excited to begin actively recruiting a General Surgeon to join our well established General Surgery team for expansion into our Ringgold, GA community. This opportunity will allow you to utilize your broad range of general surgical procedure skills to provide a wide range of patient care surgery services to this this vibrant and growing community!
As a fully integrted member of the General Surgery team, this position will enjoy the support of a larger team dynamic while being key to the launch and growth of this expansion site. The position offers a full-time Monday through Friday schedule. Responsibilities
Patient Care:
* Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
* Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
* Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
Communication:
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
* Provide clear and concise medical information.
* Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
Documentation:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
* Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
Diagnostic Procedures:
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
* Perform procedures as needed
* Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
Team Collaboration:
* Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
* Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
Quality Improvement:
* Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
* Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
* Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
Compliance:
* Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
* Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
* Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
Continuous Learning:
* Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
* Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
* Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this full-time position will be:
* Board-certified / eligible in General Surgery;
* License to practice in the states of Georgia and Tennessee;
* Have PALS, BLS, ACLS certifications;
* Have an unrestricted license to practice in GA and TN, and DEA and NPI for both states
* And possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and share our vision to create healthier communities!
Pay Range
$175.19 - $213.51 /hour
