Offshore Project Engineer Job Summary
This position will ensure all methods of engineering activities are properly managed directly by staff to guarantee the quality of the product based on job requirements. Will also provide assistance to other functions to indicate, agree, and implement the most effective solutions for the Installation/construction activities.

Offshore Project Engineer Responsibilities

  • Organize design reviews to define the best Installation methodology solutions
  • Participate in various meetings (Project Progress, Engineering Coordination, HSE, Risk Assessment)
  • Technical review meetings (Procurement, Engineering, Fabrication, Operation, Interface)
  • Interface meetings with Client, other Contractors, and Sub-Contractors
  • Design any required lift rigging
  • Prepare Technical Memos, Technical Queries to support any contractual deviation
  • Prepare input for installation activities presentations
  • Specify and follow up on the equipment, installation aids, material, and documentation
  • Ensure equipment, installation aids, and material requirements are well transmitted and received through a turn-around file (Material List)
  • Provide technical support for Spread & Equipment Engineering (drawings, SOP, layout etc.)
  • Revise the Installation Engineering drawings following the supplier, manufacturer, sub-contractor documentations
  • Issue, update & follow-up on Technical Bid Evaluations within his Installation Engineering competencies

Offshore Project Engineer Position Requirements

  • Undergraduate in Engineering (Structural, Mechanical, Civil, etc.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in the in the offshore Oil and Gas or Offshore Wind industry
  • Willing to spend short time (1-4 weeks) offshore on board installation vessels supporting offshore operations
