Adelphi is seeking Occupational Therapists to provide Occupational Therapy Services for a school district Morris County, New Jersey. The Occupational Therapists will play a crucial role in supporting students' growth, development, and learning by providing effective occupational therapy services. Relevant experience providing occupational therapy services in a school environment Knowledge and experience with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Child Study Teams. Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services. Collaborate with the Child Study Teams administrative and medical staff. Work under the supervision of the Boards Supervisor of Special Services. Delivering therapy as specified in each students Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Developing measurable goals and objectives for each students IEP. Preparing summary statements regarding educational status. Completing semi-annual progress reports. Consulting with teachers and team members to integrate therapeutic strategies into educational programs. Conducting periodic initial evaluations and reevaluations of students performance and needs. Participating in parent conferences as part of the team. Providing in-service educational programs for staff development as needed. Performing occupational therapy evaluations as recommended by the Child Study Team and approved by the Director of Special Services.
