Private practice money with academic ties This established medical group seeks General, Non-invasive, Cardiologist to be part of an exceptional opportunity within our well-established, highly regarded Cardiology Division. This position will support the increase in current patient volumes. Successful candidate must be Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.The group has a well-established patent base as the premier Cardiac Center in the North Florida Region. There is opportunity to participate in clinical trials and join a private research institute as well as become a partner in the practice.This group practices solely at 1 hospital which provides 2 Full-service EP Labs, with a 3rd in planning.Benefits of private/multi-specialty practice with partnership with 1 hospital through Professional Service Agreement and exclusive cardiology contract. Current composition includes 5 interventional, 8 non-invasive/imaging, 4 electrophysiologists, 4 cardiac/thoracic surgeons and 11 Internal Medicine/Family Medicine physicians.The group has been a part of the community for over 20 years. The group is active in research and education and own and own operate a well-developed, independent clinical research institute participating in over 100 clinical trials over the past decade and active in multiple new device and pharmaceutical studies.The groups physicians also serve on faculty at Florida State University (FSU) College of Medicine and as preceptors with FSU Internal Medicine Program and the hospital's Family Medicine Residency Program.The Community:Near, but far, from the well-known destinations of the Sunshine State, the area offers a distinct culture and community with access to some of the world's greatest beaches.
