Fabricator - MST

Durations - 6+ Months

1. Two-year experience in manufacturing welding using Pulsed MIG, Short-arc MIG or Submerged arc processes preferred;
2. ASME certification
3. Ability to pass an onsite 2G or 6G certification test
4. Knowledge of the welding process and equipment
5. Ability to weld vertical, flat and overhead welds with a good penetration and a quality appearance
6. Ability to operate a plasma cutter and acetylene torches
7. Math skills including fractions and angles
8. Ability to read tape measures and angle finders
9. Ability to read blueprint drawings and cut lists
10. Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments
11. Trained in overhead crane operation
12. Ability to lift 50 pounds
13. Physical ability to work and weld in awkward positions such as kneeling, lying down and overhead
14. Ability to climb and work from a ladder
15. Ability to operate various shop tools including power and manually operated wrenches
16. Able to work weekends and over-time
