MAINTENANCE PLANNER
The Maintenance Planning role improves work force productivity and work quality by utilizing resources and strategic planning to anticipate and eliminate potential delays. Labor scheduling, materials planning, and preventative maintenance cadences are critical to ensure or extend the life of the plant's physical assets and continue operations at maximum capacity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE MAINTENANCE PLANNER
- Takes personal ownership for working safety and motivates others to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintenance lead for planning and scheduling in ERP system (SAP).
- Reviews work requests/orders as they are received and maintains an accurate and up to date backlog.
- Conducts field visits to understand and scope the work that has been requested.
- Coordinates with the requestor to validate scope and timing requirements/constraints.
- Estimates the labor and materials necessary for the job.
- Consults with appropriate departments to ensure both stock and non-stock materials are available and procured prior to start of the job.
- Determines labor capacity for the weekly schedule.
- Prepares weekly schedule in coordination with operations and maintenance personnel.
- Develops standard job plans for repetitive tasks/jobs.
- Updates the ERP System (SAP) with equipment repair history.
- Maintains accurate ERP System (SAP) equipment and asset information.
- Coordinates with engineering and production to establish and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Lead Project planning for continuous improvement system updates within SAP for CPP Maintenance Team.
- Facilitates meetings with the necessary parties to escalate issues with in Maintenance and how it impacts process flow through the SAP System.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma, required.
- Associate (AS) degree in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance or relevant field, preferred.
- Minimum of four years of prior planning and scheduling experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and computer skills.
- Demonstrated expertise/experience with tracking of maintenance completed on instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical systems in an industrial plant environment.
- Capability to read and interpret technical documents, including maintenance manuals and generate field drawings and material lists necessary for job execution.
- Prior planning and scheduling experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Self-motivated, comfortable working as an individual contributor and as a team player in a lean environment.
