PeaceHealth Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE neurologist interested in a NeuroHospitalist position focused on the delivery of high-quality neurological care to inpatients at St. Joseph Medical Center, a 265-bed Level II trauma center in Bellingham, Washington.

  • New position with the opportunity to develop administrative skills and relationships at the hospital
  • Integrated member of the 11-member established outpatient physician & clinician neurology team. The Neurologists also have an inpatient component to their work schedule
  • 1 week on/ 1 week off schedule with 24-hour call; after hours call is mostly by phone with next day follow-up
  • Tele Stroke program offers coverage evenings/weekends
  • Average of 7 patients/day
  • EEG/EMG Techs are available 8a-5p, 7 days/week
  • Designated office space at the hospital
  • Epic EHR
