Overview
JOB SPECIFICS:
- The Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery team is looking for a Physician Assistant with experience to fill a 1.0 FTE!
- Will be first assist in the OR when Dr. Dorafshar (current Plastic Surgeon) is operating
- Will help round on admitted patients, see post-op patients in clinic, assist with in office procedures and perform weekly tissue expansions for reconstruction breast patients for a duration of 6-8 weeks before permanent breast implant can be implanted
- Will also see acute visits for patients with pain, wound check, and other issues in the clinic
- Will see all re-con breast cancer patients as they require a yearly follow up for life

- Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $60.39 - $73.68.
- Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
- Licensed to provide either an advanced practice nursing services in the State of Illinois as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act] OR [physician assistant services as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987 ("Act") Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics.
- BLS/ALS Certified Experience is preferred however; new graduates will be considered.
