Eaton’s ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Demand Planner - Direct Source (Hybrid) in Moon Township, PA. The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year. What you’ll do: PRIMARY FUNCTION: The primary function includes but is not limited to: preparation of a mid to long term consensus demand plan (18-24 months) through coordination of sales and marketing forecasts into a planning and purchasing plan that will satisfy customer expectations, while minimizing inventory investment, and maximizing customer growth opportunities. The successful candidate is expected to be able to summarize and articulate assumptions, facts and outcomes of the consensus demand plan to a broad and diverse audience. Function includes issuance of purchase orders to internal and external suppliers. Additional responsibilities may include: Demand planning and support of manufacturing operations to meet inventory and customer satisfaction goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: A. Lead, coordinate and manage monthly Product Line for the Demand cycle of the Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning (SIOP) process. Prepare a robust mid to long term (18-24 months) month consisting of a statistical baseline forecast, reviewed and qualitatively adjusted, enhanced with market intelligence from the product line and commercial teams. B. Collect and incorporate customer forecasts and historical demand information into forecasting database tool to be used as in input into future demand and procurement plans. C. Present demand plan outputs in the relevant SIOP Demand Reviews D. Manage and Monitor Demand Planning KPIs, including but not limited to Forecast Accuracy and Bias at multiple product levels. Perform Root Cause Analysis of top errors. E. Review purchasing requisitions and issue purchase orders to internal and external suppliers to support business objectives, service levels and inventory goals. F. Manage (expedite and/or delay) purchase orders to satisfy existing or new customer requirements and to support business objectives. G. Communicate/coordinate with distribution centers and logistics providers for shipment coordination and product receipt. H. Manage supplier invoice holds for timely resolution. I. Use demand information and statistics to develop stock/nonstock classification recommendations and re-order point analyses; review with key stakeholders and implement. J. Manage and maintain finished good inventory levels at distribution centers to maximize customer service while minimizing inventory investment. Prepare finished goods inventory forecasts as required. K. Provide support and coordinate the phase-in of new products and phase-out of obsolete, monitor and minimize excess inventory investment. L. Perform VISTA (proprietary Order Management system) product registration and maintenance. M. Support other Supply Chain Management initiatives as identified. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution. Minimum 2 years’ experience in demand or supply planning, Purchasing, SIOP, or customer service. Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50 mile radius) will be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Discipline from an accredited institution.
