We are searching for a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Attorney with a background in personal injury or employment litigation. Associates work with senior attorneys and staff in a collaborative environment, managing all aspects of litigation and taking on increased responsibility. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and assist with all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as complaints, briefs, and related correspondence
- Participate in client interviews, strategy discussions, and depositions
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court appearances
- Work collaboratively with senior attorneys on case strategy and client management
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar
- 2-5 years of litigation experience (plaintiff experience preferred)
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Passion for employment law and commitment to fighting for employee rights
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Well-established mid-size firm with a growing collaborative team, offering great mentorship
