We are looking for a Senior Product Manager that will be responsible for working on delivering features and managing roadmaps for Paramount's Media Management products within the Enterprise and Media Solutions team! The role will work with various internal and external partners, including managers, vendors and operational leads to understand the overall business strategy and product requirements as well as prioritize and communicate those requirements to all development teams (internal and/or external).
This role will operate to ensure successful translation of requirements into high-quality software solutions and operational workflows, taking full responsibility for the development, user experience, timelines, and ongoing improvements.
The Senior Product Manager will be required to prioritize tradeoffs, elucidate & validate requirements, and write user stories throughout the development lifecycle.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $140,000.00 - 150,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.

The Senior Product Manager will be required to prioritize tradeoffs, elucidate & validate requirements, and write user stories throughout the development lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key business partners, engineering and operational teams and support teams to define, develop, shape and refine requirements to align with the overall business strategy and goals
- Define, prioritize, and clarify user stories by collaborating with others to understand use cases, features, business, and technical domain goals
- Build and maintain feature backlogs
- Build and maintain short, medium, and long-term product roadmaps and generate internal agreement with key partners
- Maintain the functional quality of the work being delivered by setting and evaluating requirements and acceptance criteria
- Periodically (quarterly) review the product/applications with internal customers to ensure all features meets expectations
- Work with engineering teams to continuously improve product ownership and development cycles via Agile methodology.
- Collaborate with internal developers, designers, media operations and external partners to conceive, implement and manage product features
- Develop documentation, use cases, workflows, wire-frames, design requirements, product requirements, and other materials as needed to support design and development
- Monitor metrics and report on progress to internal customers
- Perform product demos as needed and evangelize across other teams as needed
- Stay in sync with overall company product strategy
- Own and maintain product documentation including feature lists, roadmaps, costs, knowledge-based articles, internal training materials, etc.
- Study competitive offerings in the market and anticipate changes in available technologies and applications
- Annually audit existing applications/workflows to ensure continual optimization
- Managing, documenting, and communicating proof of concepts around emerging technology as it applies to Digital Asset Management features
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of working across departments to evangelize and continuously align teams with an overall technology strategy
- Experience of working in an Agile project management framework and associated tools
- Experience writing user stories, grooming product backlogs and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast-paced environment
- Expert level understanding of Digital Asset Management solutions
Additional Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of operating systems, networking and corporate information systems infrastructure is desirable
- Experience interacting/collaborating with enterprise IT support teams (compute, network, storage, database) to resolve issues
- Experience working in a customer-service oriented environment, processing user requests and collaborating with engineering teams to provide new solutions
- Excellent collaboration, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Experience in the media & entertainment industry relating to one or more of the following areas - metadata management, digital video, audio and image, asset management systems/platforms, and multimedia formats
- Experience working in a cloud environment like AWS, GCP, OCI or Azure
- Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and resolve urgent issues
- Experience operating effectively as part of a project team and in managing own project work
- Experience working in a distributed global technology environment is a plus
- Self-motivated, great teammate who prioritizes results
- Ability to rapidly adapt to changes in technology solutions and business requirements
- Experience working with Web Based technologies and feature testing including UAT cycles
- Interpret usage data and develop reports and presentations
Desirable Skills:
- Understanding of OpenText Media Management (OTMM) or other asset management systems
- Experience with XML, JSON, Web Services, REST APIs, and Messaging
- Engineering or development backgrounds highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred

- The position reports to the Exec Director, Enterprise Content Management
- The role is required operate effectively as part of a project team and in managing own work

- This position communicates with all levels of personnel throughout the company
