What's the role?

At Bloomberg Finance, we are committed to providing world-class support to our business leaders by providing insight on business performance, financial oversight and thought leadership.

The Corporate FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) department delivers consolidated management reporting, financial analysis, & decision support to the senior decision makers at the firm and facilitates the end-to-end business & financial planning process.

As a Product Manager, your main responsibility will be to play a transformational role in changing the operations of the department. You'll be reporting into the Head of Business and Capital Planning Operations directly and working closely with the application engineers and stakeholders such as the FP&A Reporting and Analytics teams.

We'll trust you to:

  • Support the effort on finance transformation projects, including high impact work to enhance existing reporting processes, and streamline underlying data architecture to support the analytical needs of Bloomberg Finance
  • Serve as the primary product lead and partner with a dedicated engineering team to scope, plan, and execute on development priorities for the company's internal application/tool to track workforce investments
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support that requires ingesting, preparing, and analyzing multiple, large datasets
  • Support the communication and facilitation of the core SAP workflow and reporting functionality used across finance teams in preparing financial outlooks and budgets
  • Contribute to the facilitation of the capital planning process, including communications on capital funding requests, and tracking of capital spend across key projects and business units


You'll need to have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant application management experience
  • Ability to translate FP&A reporting processes into system requirements
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present work product in a succinct and clear manner
  • Self-starting, quick learner with the ability to understand complex situations and translate/remediate into simple and clear guidance/process
  • Ability to win support and build strong relationships with a wide range of multi-departmental partners and peers
  • A keen eye for the details and a mindset to drive optimization


We'd love to see:

  • Prior experience in a product management role for an internally used application
  • Direct FP&A experience

Salary Range: 105,000 - 140,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
