The UV CIPP/Schwalm Technical Manager will oversee and deliver advanced training programs for new and experienced installers/operators. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our high standards for the installation of UV CIPP liners and the operation of Schwalm robotics. As a manager in quality assurance, you'll drive technical excellence, enhance safety compliance, and foster customer success through hands-on support and guidance. This role requires the ability to travel 75%+, as well as nights and weekends.
Home base for this role is Greenville, SC - must be in the area or willing to relocate after 90 days of employment.

As a manager in quality assurance, you'll drive technical excellence, enhance safety compliance, and foster customer success through hands-on support and guidance. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with UV cure units, UV materials and CCTV robotics.
- Coordinate closely with the Operations team and Customers.
- Supervise UV CIPP training in-classroom and in-ground settings.
- Supervise Schwalm robotic basic operation as well as on-site basic repair and maintenance.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting during installation and inspections, guaranteeing quality outcomes.
- Ensure all training programs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Offer technical support to sales and customer service teams, contributing to upselling opportunities when appropriate.
- Continuously evaluate and improve training effectiveness, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process and operation.
- Provide regular updates to the management team.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the installation of UV CIPP liners in the wastewater industry.
- 3+ years of experience with CCTV robotics.
- Proven experience with UV CIPP liners and UV CIPP cure units.
- Proven experience with operation of CCTV robotics.
- Strong leadership experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of industry standards.
- Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations in the Trenchless Technologies field.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel as required, including out-of-town projects.
- Computer literacy skills, with ability to operate software such as Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint.
Key qualities and skills for the job:
- In-depth knowledge of infrastructure rehabilitation procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
- General mechanical ability, and general knowledge of hand/power tools.
- Ability to operate and conduct basic troubleshooting of UV CIPP cure units and CCTV robotics.
- Possesses understanding of all required work site permits including confined space, hot work, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), etc.
- Knowledge of installation practices and experience determining installation methods best suited for specific applications
- Demonstrates understanding of UV CIPP lining and CCTV Robotics.
- Understands project up-selling opportunities and options.
- Keep current with industry standards and regulations.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, and twisting.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing strenuous tasks for extended periods.
- Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working as required by the job.
