Faire
Senior Product Manager, Brand Growth & Engagement
Faire, San Francisco, CA
About Faire
Faire is an online wholesale marketplace built on the belief that the future is local - independent retailers around the globe are doing more revenue than Walmart and Amazon combined, but individually, they are small compared to these massive entities. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town - we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so that small businesses everywhere can compete with these big box and e-commerce giants.
By supporting the growth of independent businesses, Faire is driving positive economic impact in local communities, globally. We're looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.
About this role
Faire is disrupting an industry historically accustomed to deep relationships and mostly in-person processes. Against this backdrop, Faire is using technology to introduce entirely new ways of selling and dramatically simplifying wholesale sales. As we partner with brands to serve our joint customers - retailers - we aspire to become the one-stop shop for every brand to start and scale their wholesale business.
Two things are at the heart of helping brands - the supply side of our marketplace - succeed on Faire and grow profitable businesses.
The first is ensuring brands take advantage of all that Faire offers to maximize their value from the platform. From getting their shops on Faire to be customer-ready, or leveraging our suite of marketing tools (ads, free shipping programs and our referral program) to drive growth, and adopting our suite of tools designed to simplify operations, there is a breadth of products and programs for brands to utilize.
The second is ensuring that the end-to-end experience of selling on Faire is simple, seamless and coherent from day 0 all the way to running a scaled wholesale business on Faire.
These two objectives can sometimes be in tension, but when solved well, you'll have the opportunity to drive significant customer and business value. This highly cross-functional role will be empowered to lead a broad set of teams to drive coordinated outcomes. By building with a brands' end2end experience in mind, we'll ensure they can realize their potential, grow their sales, and deliver high-quality services for their retailer customers on Faire.
