Fueled by a passion for discovery, the Project Manager is responsible for the management of projects from scoping and planning to deliverable and is the hub for any project-related information between account, creative, editorial, scientific and technical departments.

Position Responsibilities
• Opens jobs within the project and time management system (ie, Workamajig)
• Creates project scopes of work and maintain schedules for each project
• Serve as liaison between all departments to ensure timely completion of projects
• Resolves any scheduling issues in order to anticipate and prevent bottlenecks throughout each phase of a project
• Maintains daily/weekly project status reports
• Schedules and helps facilitate kick off and internal status meetings
• Regularly communicates with the project team to ensure all departments are apprised of job status and handoffs
• Troubleshoots issues, resolves questions and oversees day-to-day activities of team's projects
• Monitors workloads of scientific, editorial, and design departments to anticipate scheduling issues
• Tracks and monitors progress of job status across the agency to ensure adherence to schedules
• Enforces workflow processes to ensure efficiency and productivity on all projects
• Assists with Medical, Legal and Regulatory submissions in content management platforms (ie, Veeva)
• Assists with acquisition of journal and conference submission guidelines and disseminates to team
• Monitors all financials associated with assigned projects and/or businesses
• Documents project budget concerns concisely, accurately, and in a timely fashion

Talent & Knack
• Bachelor's degree
• Relevant experience (marketing, digital and/or communication agency) a plus
• Experience in resource and timeline modeling to forecast project requirements
• Demonstrated experience with traffic coordination
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint a must; project management software (ie, Workamajig) knowledge a plus
• Strong problem solving, negotiating and decision-making skills
• Highly organized, detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities and projects at one time
• Strong verbal (including facilitation and presentation) and written communications skills, and capable of communicating to clients (when requested) and other suppliers the status of various projects
• Ability to influence, motivate, and lead stake holders without authority to meet project deliverables and deadlines
• Knowledge of processes for digital projects such as websites, HTML e-mails, and interactive media a plus
