Join Our Product Team

Our growing Product Team works directly with clients, supporting products as well as consulting teams to help deliver new insights, efficient technology-enabled solutions, streamlined analysis, and world-class intelligence to the healthcare organizations we serve. You will support physician and executive leadership to make informed decisions that can alter the course of their enterprises in areas such as physician alignment, mergers and acquisitions, service line planning, provider compensation, fair market value, financial performance, transforming care models, patient access, optimizing managed care portfolios, expanding digital health and more. ECG has established products related to valuation services, market analysis, and provider needs along with emerging products related to compensation, patient access, financial stewardship, and a variety of other areas.

Your Opportunity with ECG: Product Manager, Product Team

As the product manager, you will oversee the development, strategy, and execution of our growing key technology products, adding to our portfolio of four products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, consulting, and customer success, to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet the needs of ECG's clients. Your focus will be on understanding customer challenges, defining product roadmaps, and ensuring the successful execution of our product strategy. The ideal candidate is open to new challenges, is exceptional at multitasking, builds strong relationships quickly, and has strong experience in market analysis and financial modeling that translates our clients' needs into solutions.

The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in driving ECG's success by leading the development and execution of new products and of enhancements to existing products that directly impact our clients. By aligning product strategy with the company's broader objectives, the Product Manager ensures that we consistently deliver innovative, high-value solutions that meet market demands and exceed expectations. The Product Manager's ability to translate our users' needs into actionable product features, combined with a focus on optimization, will not only enhance the products' competitive positioning but also fuel the company's growth and profitability in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to those listed below.

Product Strategy and Roadmap
  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for technology products within the Innovation Center.
  • Analyze market trends, lead research and analysis of competitor offerings, and understand client needs to inform product development.
  • Collaborate with leadership within the Innovation Center to align product strategy with the firm's business goals.
  • Develop presentations and supporting materials to gain ECG executive leadership buy-in on new products, and where necessary, assist in secure additional funding.
  • Lead the development of go-to-market analyses, pro formas, and other financial and strategic analyses of new products or new markets.
  • Use the existing product prioritization framework and improve it as needed, to effectively guide the allocation of supporting resources and ensure optimal time prioritization across products.


Product Development
  • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and design teams to translate product requirements into actionable development plans.
  • Define and prioritize features, user stories, use cases, and product backlog, ensuring clear communication with technical teams.
  • Oversee the product life cycle from ideation to product launch and a stable release version, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. This includes overseeing significant enhancements (e.g., new modules) to existing products.
  • Ensure a successful hand-off of new products poststabilization to the appropriate teams.


Stakeholder and Client Management
  • Engage with key stakeholders (internal and external) and clients to gather feedback, understand customer challenges, and define product requirements.
  • Communicate product vision and progress to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Represent the voice of the customer in product discussions, ensuring that client and market needs are at the forefront of decision-making.
  • Drive product prioritization, particularly with products that are strategically aligned.


Performance Tracking and Optimization
  • Set clear key performance indicators (KPIs) and goals for product performance, tracking success during creation through post-launch.
  • Continuously analyze product performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Lead efforts to iterate and enhance the product based on feedback, performance metrics, and market shifts.


Go-to-Market (G2M) Strategy
  • Partner closely with marketing, sales, and customer success teams and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive G2M strategies for each product. Ensure that all teams are aligned on product positioning, target audience, and launch timelines.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analyses to identify key differentiators and opportunities for each product. Use insights to inform pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies that will drive market adoption and customer engagement.
  • Lead the creation of detailed product launch plans, including timelines, key milestones, and deliverables. Oversee the execution of these plans to ensure a successful product introduction, including pre-launch preparation, launch-day activities, and post-launch follow-up.
  • Work closely with sales and implementation teams to develop product training materials, sales collateral, and messaging that clearly communicate the product's value proposition. Provide ongoing support to sales team members to ensure they are equipped to effectively position and sell the product to clients.


Team Collaboration
  • Serve as the bridge between technical (product build) and nontechnical (marketing, sales, etc.) teams, facilitating clear communication and ensuring all teams are aligned on product goals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within product teams.


Our Expectations of You
  • Bachelor's degree in information services, business administration, marketing, or related field.
  • Four or more years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a technology or consulting environment. Healthcare product experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing the development of technology products from conception to launch. SaaS and AI product experience is a plus.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to work closely with engineering teams to develop software products. Prior coding/software writing experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience developing G2M strategies, pro formas, and competitor analyses.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Analytical mindset, with experience using data to drive decision-making and improve product outcomes.
  • Creative thinking to solve problems and develop novel solutions, particularly when the ideal solution is not defined.
  • Ability to manage multiple products and prioritize work based on business impact.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Passionate about healthcare, making a difference, technology, and staying up-to-date with industry trends.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $140,000-$160,000 annually. It represents a good faith estimate of the range that ECG reasonably expects to pay at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to years of experience, special skills, and market changes. This job is eligible to participate in ECG's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects ECG's pay-for-performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in ECG's benefit plans, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching program, unlimited PTO, and other wellness programs.
