The Concert Solutions team is focused on ensuring the success and adoption of Concert by partnering with our internal teams and external advertising clients.

As Senior Director, Concert Solutions, you will support the growth of Concert by driving sales strategy, product development and marketing for Concert's current and future advertising solutions. You will partner with a number of team members across the Vox Media organization, including sales teams, account managers, publisher partners, our insights team, and our Product Org - including our Concert Studio designers and engineers.

This role is part of the Concert & Programmatic team and will report to the SVP, Commercial Operations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Oversee Concert Solutions team with the primary goal of growing Concert revenue in partnership with Vox Media's centralized sales organization
  • Own Concert solutions strategy, including ads, inventory packages, and 1P data support
  • Manage product suite and support Media Strategy, Integrated Marketing and Sales to match the right products to the right advertiser KPI
  • Identify and project management product development for new advertising solutions with an eye for industry trends and new technology
  • Promote our portfolio of Concert solutions with highlights on performance with case studies and best practices
  • Stakeholder in Concert publisher development based on feedback from internal partners and clients
  • Partner with our internal design team on user experience of our ad experiences, ensuring they are industry leading
  • Collaborate with internal teams & stakeholders on Concert & media RFP's and steering them from pre-sale to post-sale
  • Brainstorm innovative creative solutions for clients based on assets and goals
  • Consolidate feedback from external advertisers on ad products
  • Lead client calls to talk about our Concert marketplace, creative ad solutions
  • Attend and actively participate in client meetings as needed
  • Become a category expert, maintain category best practices, highlight industry trends, and work to define new solutions
WHO YOU ARE
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in ad tech, agency, or publisher
  • Understanding of current ad tech landscape and technologies advertisers are using
  • Creative thinker with operational skills, ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with larger teams
  • Exceptional writing, negotiating, and communication skills
  • Ability to organize and manage complex projects across a multitude of stakeholders
  • Natural ability for explaining complex technologies in simple terms
  • Deep understanding of how digital advertising and how digital media is bought and sold across different platforms and publishers
  • Client-facing customer service experience and detail-oriented communication skills
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager (GAM) a plus
  • Experience with building presentations in Google Slides & Docs

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.

$160,000-$175,000 USD
