The Director of Supply Chain oversees the seamless integration of procurement, production, inventory management, and outsourced services. This role ensures that the supply chain operates efficiently, meeting the company's quality standards and consumer demands while optimizing costs and sustainability practices.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Purchasing and Outsourcing Managers who are all assigned to lead and execute project assignments to achieve the company's strategic goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Purchasing and Outsourcing Managers who are all assigned to lead and execute project assignments to achieve the company's strategic goals.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee project teams to ensure that resourcing, scheduling, and supplier costs, contracts and relationships, and all associated risks are effectively managed.
- Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, cost, and quality across the organization.
- Lead strategic sourcing of direct and indirect spend categories, focused on cost, quality and delivery of materials and services, advancing supplier relationship management practices.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels, and a reliable supply of materials and services.
- Lead inventory management across multiple sites, ensuring timely delivery of materials to production, reducing Days on Hand volumes while increasing monthly inventory turns.
- Lead the integration of supply chain processes with other business functions, such as sales, marketing, finance, IT, logistics and production to align with strategic business goals.
- Develop and maintain sustainable and ethical sourcing practices, ensuring compliance with legal standards, regulatory controls, and corporate social responsibility commitments.
- Lead risk management efforts across the supply chain, including the development of contingency plans to mitigate the impact of disruption, shortages, or other unforeseen challenges.
- Manage and lead direct reports. Determine and assign projects and tasks, as appropriate, to achieve department and organization objectives.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Coaches and develops direct reports, and supporting team, with a continued focus on succession planning.
- Perform other duties as applicable or assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
- Comprehensive understanding of leadership and business administration, as well as business forecasting strategies and techniques.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or another related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement, with a minimum of 5 years in a progressive leadership role.
- Demonstrated success achieving cost improvement targets, leading supplier negotiations and managing supplier service and performance.
- Demonstrated proficiency with ERP, contract management, AP/PO and/or other technology-based purchasing, warehousing and materials management solutions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work 8 hours consecutively.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to travel for projects or executive team meetings.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
