The Communications Planners thrive on exploring changing consumer behavior, cultural trends, and competitive insights to break category norms, create new standards and create new solutions. They are courageous, inventive and have entrepreneurial spirit.
The VP, Global Director, Insights & Action leads strategy and integrated communications planning, aligns and ensures all disciplines are working together in support of the business. The VP, Global Director is a strong strategic contributor with ability to deliver thought leadership POVs, set the agenda of the discipline on the designated accounts, identify opportunities to drive organic growth and for product development. The role operates on global/multi-market accounts and collaborates, with flexibility and engagement, with a multitude of teams all over the world. The role is considered a trusted and influential strategic partner and agent of change, working closely with our Mediahub Global Business Leads and the Senior Leadership of our global accounts.

Salary Range
$160,000-$235,000 USD

Responsibilities
- Develops global strategies and communications plans, that align with and support the overall objectives and marketing goals of our global clients
- Leads and facilitates the process for integrated planning across all markets, ensuring that all disciplines and markets are working together in support of the business
- Guarantees that the global strategies are appropriately shared and activated across all regions and markets
- Aligns with and influences client goals, acting as a strategic partner and a visionary agent of change
- Sets client's agenda and priorities in partnership with the Business leads
- Leads and facilitates the work of global Integrated Activation Teams (collaborating with creative agencies, PR agencies, production houses)
- As an agent of change, is comfortable with the uncomfortable and looks ahead: explores new routes in both strategy and activation, paving the road for media firsts and betas; engrains lateral/creative/innovative thinking into our strategic approach and planning proposals to challenge category norms; unlocks opportunities for our media-led content products (Mediahub Radical & Disruptive and Mediabrands Content Studio); strives for the betterment of our product and solutions
- Master the fundamentals of marketing and media (the rigor) to unlock creativity (the magic)
- Magnetic storyteller, influences the audience with powerful and effective stories
- Adapts content and communication style to the audience - has gravitas and impact with C-level audiences, is energizing and empathetic with the local teams
- Ideates and delivers strong strategic thought leadership pieces for both internal and external divulgation
- Become a master of Mediahub's Operating System and Mediahub/ Mediabrands' solutions
- Exudes business and organizational acumen: understands, navigates and helps improve interdependencies, processes, planning cadence and deliverables, scopes of work and - where applicable - commercial models
- Partners with the business leads to identify opportunities for organic growth and multiplying the revenue streams for the agency
- Helps us build a global Mediahub community, mastering positive leadership skills such as effective communication, collaboration, support, empathy, energy and mentorship.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of experience required; in related field (e.g. media planning, marketing, consumer research, strategy, etc.).
- Software: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.), and Keynote
- Communication: strong written and verbal communication required.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills and analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative), ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and close attention to detail.
