Amentum is now hiring for several Operations/Research Analyst (Senior) - PD SAI positions in support of the Product Director Sensors - Aerial Intelligence (PD SAI) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment PD SAI core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of PD SAI and its associated Product Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within PD SAI.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:
- Serves as an analyst accomplishing a variety of projects associated with the overall Assessments and Analysis Programs.
- As a technical expert, applies, primarily, an extensive knowledge of operations research principles, process analysis, risk analysis, statistical analysis and economic analysis in accomplishing complete projects of moderately complex difficulty involving such areas of endeavor; analysis and evaluation of logistics systems, expert advisor to PD SAI organizations on analysis projects, and as a team leader accomplishing larger related projects.
- Manages and directs the analyses of management problems, performs cost analyses and modeling, provides information requirements and the formulation of scientific solutions as directed.
- Evaluates the analyses of management problems, performs cost analysis and modeling, provides information requirements and the formulation of scientific solutions.
- Provides professional and scientific work requiring the design, development and adaptation of mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods and techniques to analyze problems of management and to provide advice and insight about the probable effects of alternative solutions to these problems.
- The primary requirement of the work is competence in the rigorous methods of scientific inquiry and analysis rather than in the subject matter of the problem.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Cost Accounting or related scientific or technical discipline. (Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience or relevant military service may be substituted for education).
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
- Must have an active Secret Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability in Microsoft systems (Word, Excell, PowerPoint)
- Past experience working in PD SAI or PEO IEW&S systems / projects
- At least 24 college-level credits in operations research, mathematics, statistics, science, or related.
