The Opportunity:
We're looking for a passionate, full-stack software engineer to work with a fast-paced, highly collaborative software development team building and launching capability for Enterprise web-based systems in the Cybersecurity field. You'll have the opportunity to work on the automation of nation-level, mission-critical Cyber defense processes, workflows, and sensor data in risk management, compliance, and continuous monitoring.
You'll be responsible for complex requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation of high-quality, secure, and performant features. You'll leverage your technical expertise in configuration management, web technologies, software, and data management. You'll use your communication skills to work with a diverse team of analysts and engineers to build, test, and operate system capabilities.
You should have expertise with full-stack web application development, an understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented design principles, and be able to learn new languages, technologies, and codebases quickly. You should be able to work independently on features while collaborating with a team to review code and solve problems.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 2+ years of experience working on software development teams
- 2+ years of experience with object-oriented programming, including C#, C++, or Java
- 2+ years of experience with version control systems
- Knowledge of programming fundamentals, concepts, and language mechanics
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II Certification, including Security+, within 30 days of start date
Nice If You Have:
- 1+ years of experience with database technologies, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Experience with CI/CD tools, including GitLab
- Experience with C#, .NET and .NET Core, Web API, MVC, or LINQ
- Experience with Scripting languages, including PowerShell or Python
- Experience with pub or sub tools, including RabbitMQ or Kafka
- Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks, including jQuery, d3, React, or Vue
- Experience with Containers, including Docker or Kubernetes
