Role Overview:
Applies civil and/or architectural design knowledge, skill, and ability to create construction drawings for the project owner and provides continuous professional support throughout the entire construction process. A Design Engineer works under the close supervision of Principals and Project Managers and responsibilities grow with experience, one step at a time.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $75,000.00 to $110,000.00

Role Overview:
Applies civil and/or architectural design knowledge, skill, and ability to create construction drawings for the project owner and provides continuous professional support throughout the entire construction process. A Design Engineer works under the close supervision of Principals and Project Managers and responsibilities grow with experience, one step at a time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare calculations using engineering skills and related computer applications.
- Design portions of large projects, or responsible for the design of smaller projects.
- Develop basic construction detailing for BIM and CAD implementation.
- Review and edit project specifications.
- Assist in the field with structural assessments and Investigations.
- Assist the Project Engineer with Construction Administration services including shop drawing review,
- responding to construction issues, and site observations.
- Interact with clients, enforcement agencies, vendors, and other project consultants.
- Respond to comments by building departments or other enforcement agencies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Architectural Engineering in Civil or Architectural Engineering (Structural emphasis) from an accredited university, as well as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate.
- Professional experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills
Travel Requirements:
- Travel is anticipated between 0-10%
