The Director, HR Business Partner is pivotal in partnering with functional leaders to pinpoint critical business focus areas and elevate the talent strategy to enhance performance and business outcomes. Essential Functions:
Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance in the following areas:
- Retention and engagement of talent:
- Suggest strategies aligned with the corporate philosophy, partnering with Manager, Learning and Development to ensure that internal talent has opportunities for learning, growth and development. Partner with Manager, Learning and Development for organizational development, succession planning and development of talent below C-Suite level:
- Identify training needs for teams and individuals to support the succession plan to ensure future leadership continuity
- With the support of the training and development manager, support training implementations and participate in limited facilitation
- Employee Relations:
- Work closely with management and employees to maintain and/or improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
- Resolving complex employee relations issues through a systematic approach, ensuring fair and consistent resolutions in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Actively manage performance management needs and escalations and follow-up with managers and leaders to ensure consistent oversight and appropriate documentation
- Monitoring and reporting of meaningful workforce metrics:
- Performance ratings, compensation, turnover, years of service, demographics, etc.
- Express new ideas, new strategies and suggest solutions, considering budget limitations and our company culture:
- Partner with the different internal HR teammates to drive company-wide programs and initiatives such as salary reviews, workforce planning, and organizational change
- Propose new trends/strategies aligned with business goals
- Governance and compliance:
- Provide guidance on corporate HR policy and programs
- Collaborate with internal HR COE's (recruiting, training, total rewards) in the development of industry leading and inclusive talent programs that drive retention and engagement
- Adept at handling multiple competing priorities and duties in a fast-paced, results driven environment with minimal daily oversight
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration (Required)
- Master's Degree Business, Human Resources, Industrial or Labor Relations, or Organizational Psychology (Preferred)
- 10+ years Progressive HR experience, preferably in a strategic HR business partner Role (Required)
- Strong understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and regulations
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business outcomes
- Proven track record in driving HR initiatives that have a tangible impact on business performance
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong
- relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex business challenges and provide innovative HR solutions
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions
- Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing at all levels and navigating complex organizational dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to navigate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- PHR, SPHR, or Coaching certification (Preferred)
- Must be able to pass a background check including: Credit, Drug Screen, Criminal and bondability
