Pediatrics Physician

A primary care health center in Omaha, NE is seeking a talented, full-time Pediatrician to join their growing team! Pay: $135,000 - $195,300 / annually Pediatrician Responsibilities: * The Pediatrician works as part of the medical provider team, performing a variety of direct primary care services to patients * Provides general supervision to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants as appropriate * Provides inpatient care services and/or rounding on newborns * Obtains completes medical history, reviews medications, and performs complete physical examinations * Diagnoses acute and chronic illness on the basis of clinical findings, laboratory and x-ray reports, and/or the results of other diagnostic procedures according to approved protocols * Implements treatment and prescribes medications as needed according to therapeutic goals * Formulates, initiates, and monitors management plans for assigned patients using approved protocols * Provides health education to patients and their families as appropriate * Other duties may be included in the Physician s employment contract Pediatrician Qualifications: * Graduation from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy * Completion of an approved residency program in Pediatric medicine * The Pediatrician must be board certified in Pediatrics, or board eligible (if recent graduate) The Surrounding Community: * Enjoy a low cost of living and affordable housing options, allowing you to make the most of your earnings. * Benefit from exceptional school systems, ranging from elementary to college education. * Experience a friendly community base and a wide range of activities, from outdoor adventures to diverse dining options.
