Emergency Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed: * ASAP - Ongoing * Must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends * Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts, affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts * Shift times: 6a-4p, 9a-7p, 12p-10p, 3p-1a, 7p-5a, 9p-7a Clinical Information: * Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's * All standard ER procedures * Level II trauma Center * Only transfer plastics/hand (some coverage), neuro IR, Peds * Average patient census: 170 * Common cases: Trauma (mainly blunt), mix of all types of patients * Annual ER admissions: 24% * Neurology, Psychiatric Required: * DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active * Current Flu Vaccine * Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 * Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility. * Board Certified in one of the following: * American Board of Emergency Medicine * American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine * Active MO License * ATLS (one time in career), ACLS, PALS * Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered "Local", and will not be eligible for this role
