Outstanding opportunity for a BE/BC OB-GYN to provide hospitalist services for a comprehensive, integrated health care system in southwestern Connecticut. Position Highlights: Providing call coverage and L&D support Caring for inpatient OB and GYN patients Providing OB and GYN consultations on the floor and Emergency Department Overseeing residents, fellows, midwives or advanced practice nurses Member and leader of the OB Rapid Response Team Member of patient safety and quality review committees Implementing quality programs and evidence-based medicine Extensive support from OB/GYN subspecialties, including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology 12 hour and 24 hour shifts available The Community: Working in this coastal city in southwestern Connecticut provides a variety of geographical advantages that enhance both the professional and personal experience.
