Job Duties
This position provides a full range of legal and administrative support to the Environmental Section's attorneys. These responsibilities will include: preparing, formatting and proofing legal documents, correspondence and court filings; generating a weekly report; assembling, redacting and compiling documents in PDF format; creating, maintaining and updating Excel spreadsheets; creating, organizing and updating filing paper and electronic filing systems; maintaining legal databases; legal research; managing client litigation; ensuring calendar control for attorneys; and public records coordination and preservation.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of environmental, federal, and state government terminology is a plus, as is experience in working with Commonwealth agencies.

- Applicants should be experienced with all Microsoft Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with preparation of litigation documents (including briefs and tables of authorities), memoranda and correspondence as well as the preparation and updating of spreadsheets.
- Workload demands typing proficiency and strong proof-reading skills.
- Candidates must be detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently, juggle deadlines and collaborate effectively in deadline-based environment.
- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as a team player in covering the work of others when the situation demands.
