Account Manager
As the Senior Director of Sales at Zerova, you will be responsible for leading a team of Regional Sales Managers to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed annual sales targets. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, cultivate key customer relationships, and ensure the successful implementation of sales initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team to prospect, qualify, and close accounts aligned with Zerova's charger technical and business strengths, exceeding annual sales goals.
- Develop comprehensive territory strategies, including channel leverage and internal resource allocation, to optimize sales performance for each account.
- Create and execute an annual sales business plan to achieve sales targets, accurately forecast revenue, and drive continuous growth.
- Visit key accounts, resolve customer issues, and deliver technical and product presentations as needed to support the sales process.
- Provide proactive account management and superior customer service to drive technical developments and ongoing production.
- Generate periodic reports including forecast information, account status updates, and sales opportunities to senior leadership.
- Travel extensively within assigned territories to build and maintain relationships with key customers, articulate value propositions, and secure business within expected timelines.
- Develop a strong technical knowledge base through training and development milestones for the sales team.
- Energetic self-starter with strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Proven track record in closing charger sales opportunities directly and through channel partners, with a focus on developing strong relationships with prospects and stakeholders.
- Experience in developing detailed account plans with strategic customers, projecting key milestones, revenue, and multi-year growth.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, handle complexity, and work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including grammar and writing, with the ability to develop and interpret strong business plans.
- Proficiency in providing technical training on electric vehicle charging products to partners and end customers, supporting the sales process.
- Experience in preparing Quarterly Business Reviews and presenting account status updates to executives.
- Deep understanding of the competitive landscape in electric vehicle charging and strategies to effectively sell against competitors.
- Previous involvement in supporting beta, proof of concept, and pilot programs at customer sites, collaborating with customer engineers and developers.
- Basic knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant state and local codes related to Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment (EVSE).
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electric Vehicle technology.
- Minimum 7 years of combined experience in multichannel system-level technical sales, preferably in battery chargers or charging technology.
- Minimum 15 years of technical sales experience.
- Team leadership experience is a must.
- Experience in selecting and managing Manufacturer's Representatives.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and multitasking skills to deliver superior customer service, including off-hours communications as needed.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including occasional international trips.

This is a fully onsite position located in Fremont, CA; Monday- Friday from 10 am to 7 pm.
