Overview: The Government is seeking contractor personnel to provide various medical support services in support of the Mobilization Force Generation Installation (MFGI) at the Soldier Readiness Processing Center at Ft. Bliss, TX. Medical Support Staff will provide comprehensive medical assessments, treatments and readiness processing for troops being mobilized for deployment. The Supply Technician will play a crucial role in managing medical supplies and equipment, ensuring that healthcare providers have the necessary resources to deliver high-quality patient care.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately store medical supplies and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed inventory records, tracking stock levels, expiration dates, and reorder points.
- Distribute supplies to various departments, ensuring timely delivery and adequate stock.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Liaise with vendors for supply procurement, including placing orders and coordinating deliveries.
- Organize and maintain a clean, efficient storage area that adheres to health and safety protocols.
- Assist in developing and implementing best practices for inventory management and supply usage.
- Support additional administrative tasks as needed to facilitate smooth operations.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of one year of college education or vocational training.
- Possess a minimum of one year of inventory management experience working as a full-time supply or warehouse manager during the last three years.
- An active Secret Clearance is required.
