About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Tax to lead its global tax strategy and operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and refining best practices in tax provision, transfer pricing, and various business tax compliance areas. This leadership role requires a strong background in corporate and international tax, including experience with M&A and cross-border tax issues. The Vice President of Tax will be responsible for managing a team, interacting with external auditors, and overseeing all aspects of the company's worldwide tax planning, reporting, audits, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, a Master's degree and CPA are preferred, and a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with a combination of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience. Candidates for the Vice President of Tax position at the company should possess excellent communication, leadership, and management skills, and be adept at working in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-national public company environment. The role demands a hands-on approach, a commitment to process improvement, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical, Excel, and systems skills are essential, as are a proven track record of strategic execution and the ability to work with a high level of independence. Experience in high-tech, start-up, rapid growth, or publicly traded companies is a plus, and the candidate should be genuinely committed to the mission of the business, which is focused on cybersecurity and the protection of customers from breaches.
