Job Title: Production Chemist Responsibilities Use chromatography to test raw materials, in-process, and finished products. Calibrate test and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy. Prepare samples and solutions for testing. Make recommendations for solutions or corrections to identified quality problems. Support the development of corrective measures and actions to correct quality issues. Perform troubleshooting of tests and equipment. Work according to SOP and GMP requirements, including writing and revising SOPs. Essential Skills 2+ years of lab experience (flexible based on work/research history). Proficiency in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, GMP, Purification, Quality Control, HPLC, and GC. Experience with troubleshooting, development, and raw material testing. Additional Skills & Qualifications BS degree is a must. Personable and good communicator, able to work effectively in a team. Work Environment You will receive extensive training for the first month and will then be expected to work in a fast-paced GMP lab, performing routine HPLC testing. The company is willing to train individuals with experience in nutra, cannabis, and sometimes food industries who want to transition into Pharma. You will have exposure to a variety of projects and room for growth, with many employees moving up into more technical and leadership roles.
