Avera is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
- Under the direction of the Director of Patient Care and/or Director of Nursing/LTC Clinical Coordinator, the LPN is responsible for the planning and coordination of direct patient and resident care services.
- Serves as a core member of the interdisciplinary client care team.
- Has the necessary authority to assess, plan, evaluate and teach in patient/resident situations.
- Carries out administrative responsibilities as delegated by Director of Patient Care/Director of Nursing/LTC Clinical Coordinator.
Education/Experience
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required.
- Associate’s Degree is required.
- 3-5 years of experience is required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Licensed as a LPN in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure is required.
- Basic Life support (BLS) (Offered on-site) is required.
Work Schedule
- Hours: Day/Night Shift; 72 hours every 2 weeks
- 6:00 am - 6:30 pm, 6:00 pm - 6:30 am
- Every 3rd weekend
- Every 3rd holiday
- No call time
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
