The SOC Emulation team is looking for a strong engineer to join our team focusing on the creation, deployment and support of advanced emulation environments. In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of a chip design effort collaborating with all disciplines, with a critical impact on getting functional products to millions of customers quickly.DescriptionAs a member of the team, you will be involved in: - SoC bringup on emulation, root cause failing SoC/Processor tests and emulator environment issues - Support multiple Emulation environments using the latest emulation techniques: - C/C++ DPI Transactors, SV assertions, Coverage, Power Estimation, SpeedBridges, Accelerated UVM Testbenches - Close collaboration with Design, DV, Power, Silicon Validation, Performance and Software teams. Strong design, debug, communication and teamwork skills are essential - Work with the top tier emulation vendors to improve capabilities, debug issuesMinimum QualificationsEmulation experience on any/all available platforms (Palladium, Protium, Veloce, or Zebu, EP) including design bringup, build flow, debug, performance and throughput tuning.Hands-on experience writing scripts using any languages (Perl, Python, Makefile)Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience with UVM verification environmentsDesign verification, DFT, TestBench modeling experienceExperience with C/C++, DPI and System Verilog, Verilog, VHDL design.Experience with waveform debug tools, Verdi/SimVisionKnowledge of communication/Interface protocols, like (PCIE, USB ), DDR, SPI.Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team.Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
