We are seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager, with a strong background in quality as well as knowledge of data analysis and testing methodologies. You'll work with engineering and quality engineers to ensure the quality of our consumer service products and lead cross-functional organizations to achieve department goals. In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and mitigate risks throughout the software development lifecycle
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including automation, software, and quality, to ensure project milestones are met and provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, encouraging a culture of collaboration and quality
- Tracking and reporting on progress, risks, and opportunities related to the project or technology area
- Presenting key findings and project status to engineering and quality leadership
Minimum Qualifications5+ years of Project / Program Management in a high-tech environmentExperience delivering customer-facing features or projects from concept through deliveryExperience with software development lifecycle in consumer media platformsExperience running technical programs with cross-functional teamsMinimum of Bachelor’s in an Engineering field such as Physics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related experiencePreferred QualificationsExcellent written and verbal presentation skillsProven leadership on major, cross-functional software projectsA track record of quickly understanding technical concepts in a wide range of fieldsDemonstrated ability to provide succinct, accurate executive summaries of project status and complicated engineering situationsStrong technical proficiencyExperience in driving quality results in a quality focused organizationPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
