The Role
As an Associate Analyst, Brokerage Operations and member of the Transfer of Assets Receives Team, you will be responsible for facilitating the movement of assets into Fidelity accounts by analyzing account details and resolving issues for complex transactions. Within this role, you will interact with many different groups in Fidelity and throughout the Financial Services industry. These accounts may include mutual fund and brokerage accounts, as well as retirement and non-retirement accounts for Retail, Correspondent, and Advisor Clients. Responsibilities include:
Delivering highly efficient transaction processing
Establishing relationships with numerous teams within Fidelity in order to service our clients while supporting divisional business needs and maintaining a "client first" mentality
Delivering superior results quickly and efficiently, utilizing effective time management skills
Driving innovation through curiosity and comprehensive understanding of business processes and challenges
Maintaining a daily workflow, while gaining industry knowledge and building a professional skill set
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
2+ years of brokerage operations or financial services experience preferred
Working knowledge of Fidelity applications preferred (FBSI, XTRAC, FDOT, MyWorkspace)
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Deliver superior service to all of our clients by processing their requests in an accurate and timely manner
Analytical skills will ensure satisfactory problem resolution for our clients and deliver solutions to complex challenges.
Grow and succeed through feedback and instruction
Excellent organization and time management skills
Effective written and verbal communication will assist business partners and customers when requests are not in good order
Take the initiative to learn new functions and engage in inter-departmental training
Identify opportunities to develop new procedures on an on-going basis to enhance the documentation process
Use multiple systems to analyze transactions
Collaborate to develop an excellent work environment
The Team
Members of this group obtain an essential understanding of the financial services industry. These associates work in Fidelity's Operations and Services Group (OSG), supporting our major lines of business including Personal Investing, Fidelity Institutional, and National Financial Services. You will work closely with contra firms, including bank and insurance companies and brokerage firms, to resolve statuses of incoming transfers. The team is the voice of the customer and is dedicated to facilitating and completing the transfers with the highest level of quality and excellence.
