This is where you’ll find newly designed, activity-based workspaces to suit a variety of working styles while strengthening collaboration between teams.Major AccountabilitiesThe Medical Lead is responsible for leading Medical Affairs activities in Lung Oncology Franchise and provides medical leadership to the Core Medical Team (CMT).Accountable for the medical accuracy and fair balance of medical information in promotional material and learning materials for both internal and external useInteract with leaders of groups identified as strategic partners, including advocacy, payer, and provider groups.Interact with leaders in the therapy area (external authorities, Academic Institutions, and Professional Societies).Provide medical input into the safety profile of the product in collaboration with Patient Safety (PS) physiciansCollaborate with the Medical Science Liaisons and work closely with National Clinical Account Managers to appropriately support key accounts.Provide medical leadership on the design and execution of HEOR studies, outcomes surveys, etc. in close collaboration with the Clinical Value Team (CVT)Essential Requirements:A Doctorate in Medicine (M.D, D.O), PhD or PharmD degrees or equivalent will be considered plus relevant experience.5+ years’ experience in Medical Affairs1-3 years in Headquarters based Medical Affairs roleA minimum of 3+ years of related work experience in industry, clinical, or research institution, preferably in oncology, rare disease, or related experiencesExperience in supporting brands or disease area levels in-country, regional, or global organizations is preferredProven ability to interact efficiently with both commercial and scientific/medical colleaguesProven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teamsAbility to travel nationally and internationallyHighly developed written, verbal, and presentation skillsTravel could be up to ~30% of time.Preferred Requirements:Proven understanding of FDA requirementsExperience in a strategy-setting role within Medical AffairsExperience in navigating sophisticated business challengesExperience in developing and maintaining a network that includes external authorityExperience in other relevant disease areas of interest through clinical experience, biopharmaceutical experience, or education may be consideredKnowledge of relevant Professional Societies and Scientific Medical Experts.Experience with pharmaceutical drug development and Medical/Scientific AffairsThe annual base pay for this position ranges from $185,413 to $278,119. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
