Description

The Superintendent is responsible for:

• Leading ground-up & renovation (commercial, academic, lifescience, public, etc.) projects up to $50M
• Making educated decisions related to the performance of all work-related activities
• Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all individuals involved in the project
• Understanding construction layout, methods of sequence, and how to read plans and specifications
• Maintaining strict build-out schedule and making course corrections as needed to ensure deadlines are met
• Managing subcontractors, field team, project schedule, etc.
• Ensuring work site safety compliance
• Accurately processing paper work
• Identifying and resolving local problems on site
• Performing job specific tasks, as necessary, on projects

Profile

The right Superintendent has the following qualifications:

• Commercial, Lifescience, or Academic project experience (required)
• 7+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor (required)
• OSHA 30
• Construction-related degree (highly preferred)
• Computer skill & familiarity with construction softwares (Newforma, Microsoft, etc.)
