Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant specializing in endocrinology to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and managing endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, and hormonal imbalances. As a valued member of our practice, you will work collaboratively with our medical team to deliver high-quality care and support to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with endocrine disorders, including obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, and hormonal imbalances, under the supervision of a licensed physician.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs and preferences.
  • Provide patient education on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of California.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in endocrinology or a related field.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
