UCHealth Medical Group is adding a board-certified General Thoracic Surgeon to our surgery team. This surgeon will have minimally invasive skills and be motivated to develop and grow a thoracic surgical program out of our hospitals in both Loveland (Medical Center of the Rockies) and Fort Collins (Poudre Valley Hospital).  Be on the cutting edge of building UCHealths Northern Colorado full-spectrum general thoracic surgery program covering a wide geographic area with a high volume of cases.
 Primary focus on oncology and secondarily on surgery for benign thoracic disease. This includes pulmonary, esophageal, mediastinal, and chest wall surgery. 
 Collaborate with our outstanding and well-established team of cardiac surgeons, oncologists, pulmonologists and general surgeons.
 The oncology services are well developed including top notch medical and radiation oncologists, oncology support services and clinical trials. 
 Medical Center of the Rockies is embarking on building a new patient care tower including four more operating rooms and doubling the intensive care unit to 50 beds. 
 The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a fast-paced, high volume, & high producing cardiovascular service line. 
 Opportunity to practice out of a Level I Trauma Center with access to multiple fully-functional daVinci Xi robots.
 EPIC EMR utilized system-wide.

This position offers a competitive compensation package:

  • The pay range for this fulltime position is $517,500-$575,000 annually. If applicable, a quality and/or productivity bonus may be offered.
