Childrens Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ and Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ are seeking a board-certified/board eligible fellowship-trained physician in pediatric endocrinology to join their Division of Pediatric Endocrinology.

Position Highlights:

  • The successful candidate will join a dynamic group of 5 pediatric endocrinologists and 2 APNs covering the RWJBarnabas Health (RWJBH) Northern Region and will share call and be a member of the group clinically and academically.
  • There is the opportunity to teach and mentor residents and medical students.
  • There is a multi-disciplinary diabetes team with dieticians, nurses, and social workers in the Division.
  • The successful candidate will split their time between the two institutions.
  • The hospitals are integral members of RWJBH, the largest academic integrated healthcare system in New Jersey.

 Candidate Requirements:

  • BC/BE in Pediatrics
  • Fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology
  • NJ licensed or eligible for licensure

The Medical Center offers the expertise of specialized nurses, respiratory therapists, child life coordinators, social workers and other health care professionals specially trained in treating the smallest patients, and personally dedicated to making them well. Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is an associate member of the National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions. Our facilities include a 50+ bed level 3 NICU, pediatric floor and pediatric ICU with full-time pediatric intensivists and hospitalists on staff.
