Overview
Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking an Systems Engineer to support the Army Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT) System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Program at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. The PM PNT provides administrative, business management, programmatic contracting, information technology (IT), program management, engineering, logistics, test and evaluation (T&E), training, operations, security, technology protection, foreign military sales, and acquisition and strategic planning services to the Army director PNT systems.
This position is hybrid requiring 2-3 days on site in Aberdeen, MD.
The SETA services provided to PM PNT shall support the planning, development, management, sustainment, and execution of the U.S. Army's PNT portfolio. PM PNT provides coordinated PNT system of systems architecture and associated PNT products for the Army's mounted and dismounted platforms. PM PNT is the Army's lifecycle manager for the Mounted Assured PNT System (MAPS), Dismounted Assured PNT System (DAPS), Assured Protection and ALTNAV Technology Development; and the Resiliency and Software Assurance Measures (RSAM)., as well as any future PNT efforts in both the Contiguous United States (CONUS) and outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS).

The System Engineer will be responsible for working with the PM's products to mature their system engineering documentation, assist in risk management and assist in configuration management of the fielded products using the PM's tools.

The System Engineer will be responsible for working with the PM's products to mature their system engineering documentation, assist in risk management and assist in configuration management of the fielded products using the PM's tools.
- Assist O6 Director of SE in producing a system engineering strategy and implementation plan
- Assist O5 product staff in executing the O6 digital engineering strategy, tailored to their specific product strategies.
- Represent O6 SE Director when attending assigned product meetings to address system engineering, risk or configuration management topics and provide meeting notes and succinct exsums.
- Assist maturation of PM Configuration management software requirements and implementing configuration management across the PM.
- Assist O6 Director, SE in managing and addressing SE acquisition responsibilities.
- Assist documentation of risks within the products and O6 risk management.
- Review and provide comments to product and O6 documentation, briefings and exsums.
Education, Requirements and Qualifications
- Secret level security clearance is required
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Systems Engineering with 7 years experience or a master's degree with 5 years experience in systems engineering for DoD systems.
- Experience with configuration management, risk management and engineering acquisition documentation.
- Expertise in using DE tools, such as Magic Draw/Cameo is required / strongly desired.
- GPS experienced helpful.
- This position is hybrid requiring 2-3 days on site in Aberdeen, MD.
- This position may require travel in and out of the contiguous US for 1-3 months at a time.
