Job Title: Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Architect - Senior Consultant and Principal - Global Salesforce

Slalom is seeking a Salesforce Solutions Architect who will drive sales and delivery using the Salesforce Public Sector Solutions product. You are passionate about helping government agencies use technology to solve big problems. You understand the problems government agencies uniquely face, and you know how to solve them with Salesforce. You will engage with our customers by leading discovery and solution design and by bringing the best practices and knowledge of the platform to our solutions. You will engage in pursuits by helping define the architecture, writing proposals, and leading customer demonstrations and partner with our industry selling team. You will be an expert in the Public Sector Solutions product and work with non-technical and technical resources on how to best use it. This is an exciting role with the opportunity to grow into leadership.

Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the Public Sector Solutions functional leader and subject matter expert for Salesforce projects globally
  • Advises the customer and Slalom's delivery team on Public Sector Solutions best practices, best solutions, re-usable assets, and product feature
  • Translates business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platforms and products
  • Provides hand-on, expert level functional and product assistance to configurators and developers.
  • Provides detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality
  • Provides expertise during sales efforts to collaboratively design elegant, functional solutions for our clients
  • Leads Slalom in understanding new Public Sector Solutions product and functional capabilities as well as refining continued best practice
  • Participates in marketing events (e.g. conferences, industry events, sales meetings)
  • Demonstrates thought leadership through publishing, public speaking and client presentations
  • Coaches and mentors junior technical and functional team members
  • Interviews candidates
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 25% for the Global Salesforce Team

Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of Salesforce experience
  • Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems
  • Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills
  • Experience with Salesforce project delivery with a preference towards consulting experience
  • Passionate about public sector and technology
  • Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.
  • Preference to experience utilizing Public Sector Solutions and OmniStudio, or with Salesforce's Industry Clouds
  • Preference to previous sales and pre-sales solutioning experience
  • Preference to technical development experience such as hands-on configuration and development of complex business processes
  • Preference to previous experience with Public Sector customers

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for the Senior Consultant role is $110,000 - $203,000. For the Principal Architect role, the base salary pay range is $122,000- $225,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
