BASIC FUNCTION: As a critical part of the healthcare team, the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) provides various direct, quality patient care activities to residents in a long term care environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assists patients in activities of daily living such as dressing or undressing, bathing, eating, etc. * Implements specific procedures and programs * Coordinates work within the department as well as with other departments * Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor and documents resident interactions as needed * Responds to inquiries or requests for information * Assists immediate supervisor and nurses with tasks to support department operations * Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: * Must have an active valid license as a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Colorado. * Must have current BLS card upon hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment. * High School Diploma or equivalent or preferred. * Two years of practical experience in a CNA position preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. SALARY INFORMATION: * $17.50 - $26.57 Dependent on experience may vary outside this range * Additional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour for additional weekend and night shifts * Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience APPLICATION WINDOW: Minimum of three days, and until it is filled BENEFITS: This position offers competitive pay, being part of a very cohesive & supportive team, and year round recreation with everything the outdoor enthusiast can imagine.
