Endocrinology Physician

Locum Pediatric Endocrinologist for call and clinic coverage needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Hendersonville, NC. * Pediatric Endocrinology: 8 hour day shifts Monday through Friday with 24 hour call coverage Monday through Sunday. * 8 hour days Monday thru Friday with 24 hour call Monday thru Friday. * Call is mostly phone calls (mommy clinic calls + hospital/ER phone calls). Would be unrestricted home call. * Must have NC license and DEA. * Would only need to come in for a new diabetic consult (typically a 48hr admission and only needs to come in at least once to meet the family and arrange f/u). * Hospitalists admit and manage most patients with phone call support. * Board certified in pediatric endocrinology. * EMR is Cerner Powerchart. * Support Staff: 1 RN, 1 LPN, 1 MA, 1 referral coordinator/scheduler & centralized registration * $1250 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days. * $Competitive Hourly pay housing travel A rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
