Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Position Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Position: OBGYN Physician Location: IA Start Date: September2024 (Flexible) Length/Need: 1 provider needed Travel & Lodging will be covered or reimbursed Medical Malpractice will be covered Do need emergent C section back up if on call at the same time Compensation: * $310-$320 hourly Schedule: * Clinic + Call * Full time coverage needed M-F clinic (7a-5p) * 24 Hour Call -Delivery/C-Sections (Friday 5p - Monday 7a) * Can potentially cover weeknight call as well if interested Details: * Facility is Level II, EMR is Cerner * Low risk and high risk deliveries; complicated & routine * Credentialing takes 35-40 days Procedures: * Low risk pregnancy (i.e. history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, etc.) * High risk pregnancy (i.e. with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc.) * FHR interpretation NST/CST/FSE x VBAC s * Routine delivery Vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section * Complicated delivery C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc. * VBAC s * Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Requirements: * Board Certified * Active IA license or IMLC * BLS, NRP, EFM cert * Clean Malpractice * Covid Vaccination * Must have experience with Emergency C Sections Apply now or forward your resume to You can also call/text
