Kennedy Jenks is seeking an exceptional Project Manager to join our growing Southwest Regional team to lead water and wastewater pipeline projects. We are looking for an ambitious achiever to join our team and support our clients' growing project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

You are a leader that engages and motivates teams to provide unsurpassed client service. You will be responsible for managing projects from the planning phase through construction, providing engineering expertise on all aspects of medium to large diameter water and wastewater pipeline projects and identifying and developing new pursuits. Your responsibilities will include managing plan preparation and specifications, project staffing, coordinating with subconsultants, managing task schedules/budgets, maintaining quality control, and coordinating activities related to planning, design and construction. Strong writing and communication skills will enable your team to deliver an exceptional work product.

  • Leading delivery of pipeline projects through planning studies, design and construction
  • Overseeing design delivery (plans, specifications, and cost estimates)
  • Mentoring project staff
  • Supporting sales in collaboration with businesses development teams
  • Coordinating with in-house multi-discipline design teams (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls, and architectural) and specialized sub-consultants
  • Managing all aspects of project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget and quality


Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or similar engineering field
  • 10+ years experience managing similar water/wastewater Pipeline projects
  • Strong writing and communication skills will enable your team to deliver an exceptional work product
  • Ability to travel to project sites and potentially other Kennedy Jenks offices
  • Professional Engineer (PE) required
  • Strong technical knowledge of the water/wastewater industry
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service and interact positively with clients
  • Experience supporting business development
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Salary range for this position may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.
