Description
The Manager, Digital Marketing, is a full-time position within the Digital Marketing Department at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. This individual will support content development and digital campaigns across the Academy, Oscars, Academy Museum, and Academy Gold social and digital channels.
The Manager, Digital Marketing is responsible for managing paid media campaigns, optimization and monetization efforts, sweeps and giveaways, and analytics and reporting to bolster the digital department's overarching content strategy. In close collaboration with the digital operations lead and department head, this role will strategize content, ensuring timely execution across all channels, thereby significantly enhancing our brand's digital presence and audience engagement. With a firm grasp of evolving trends and technologies, this individual will implement regular analytical and content strategy reports and ensure that our content adheres to our brand's overarching goals, strategic pillars, and best practices.
Reporting directly to the Director of Digital Operations & Strategy, the Manager, Digital Marketing will also assist in departmental operational activities, including partner and talent/rep communication, meeting preparation, and project tracking.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Paid Media/Social: Oversee all paid media efforts related to social and content-driven ad campaigns. Collaborate closely with content strategy, social, and video teams to align with overall strategic objectives. Experience with partners and sponsored content a plus.
Monetization: Lead the charge in optimizing and monetizing, primarily on YouTube and Meta platforms. Monitor performance, make adjustments as needed, and recommend strategic enhancements.
Sweepstakes: Propose and oversee sweepstakes and giveaways, interfacing with legal and fulfillment vendors, managing content development, asset execution, paid support, and analytical reporting.
Reporting: Responsible for regular analytical reporting and content strategy reporting that drives strategic refinement and informed decision-making based on evolving trends and technologies. Assist the Director, Digital Operations & Strategy in analyzing and reporting on departmental performance across channels. Oversee the process to continuously monitor metrics, informing content strategies, audience growth, and creative quality.
Digital Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of advancements in digital platforms, optimization, social algorithms, and digital technology to keep the department at the forefront of content development, asset execution, and analytical reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with team leads and other departments to strategize relevant, impactful content and ensure timely execution across channels.

The expected salary for this role is $75,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least 5 years of social media or digital marketing experience.
- Experience with paid media social campaigns.
- Experience creating reports and manipulating data in Google Workspace.
- Experience working with Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.).
- Competency in online analytics, specifically Sprout, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, TikTok, and Twitter Analytics.
- Excellent time and project management skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced digital & live events environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude who thrives in both a collaborative & independent work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience/comfort interfacing with partners, talent, and talent reps a plus.
