Siemens SI EP NA Lean Process Engineer - Systems has primary responsibility to support the organization towards a sustainable lean culture.
This person executes and inspires others to identify and find better ways of work by supporting process excellence throughout the North America Systems factories, with focus on Quality, Safety, Lean, Six Sigma, and general operations, promoting the use of Lean tools. This role is responsible for implementing and improving manufacturing processes utilizing basic lean manufacturing techniques. The ideal candidate will exhibit a "consultative approach" when implementing lean processes.
This position reports to the Lean Office Manager - Systems.

This position reports to the Lean Office Manager - Systems.
You will make impact with the following responsibilities:
- Mentor and train regional and plant Staff, Supervisors and others to successfully understand and utilize OPEX concepts such as Lean, Six Sigma, Green Belt, Black Belt, Lean Belt, High Performance Teams, Policy Deployment, etc.
- Lead and drive cost reduction projects & Kaizen events directed at addressing specific problems or operational incidents/situations that are not aligned to established standards or expectations.
- Support the Systems plant managers at their facilities successfully utilizing OPEX tools and directly support plant performance improvements.
- Act as an advisor/consultant, as requested, to support the Systems Factories with objectives of all business units.
- Ensure cross functional implementation of SPS[redacted] operating model or similar and tools and drives best practice transfer and lessons learned among the locations in the region.
- Support alignment on strategy, guidelines and procedures related to operational Excellence for Siemens or the respective business.
- Support the attainment of Policy Deployment Strategy in our plants and improvement targets together with management and functions.
- Support Strategies and tactics for Lean Culture.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of comprehensive (deep and broad) expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies in a manufacturing environment.
- Availability to travel at least 50% to 75% of the time.
- Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Systematic use of know-how to solve complex problems.
- Individual in role must be capable of changing existing ways and approaches where necessary and act as an innovative idea generator for new and practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating and influencing at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrable high professional judgment and competence.
- Proactively shares knowledge in a systematic way in larger organization to grow-know-how base and supports a learning organization.
- Total Productive Maintenance Certificate

- The pay range for this position is $78,500 - $134,7200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
