Job Overview: As the HVAC Installation & Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our HVAC operations, managing a team of skilled technicians, and ensuring the successful completion of HVAC installation projects and service calls. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of HVAC services to our clients while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of HVAC installers and service technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Set expectations for each installation, including safety and code requirements.
  • Coordinate with installation technicians, installation coordinators, warehouse/inventory manager, fabrication, and sales manager to complete jobs on time and within budget.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of installation technicians, ensuring high-quality installations.
  • Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and coordination of technicians, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of HVAC services.
  • Monitor and track service requests, ensuring accurate documentation, prioritization, and resolution of issues in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Manage inventory levels of parts, equipment, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment to support service operations.
  • Establish and maintain customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction.
  • Monitor the performance of installation technicians, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
  • Promote enthusiasm and brand loyalty during daily huddles, team meetings, and one-on-one interactions.
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and favorably, following the company's established procedures.
  • Analyze and control job expenses to meet budgetary requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze service reports, financial data, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management and recommending strategies for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a strong background in service and maintenance of commercial and residential HVAC systems.
  • Proven track record in HVAC installation, with 5-10 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role, demonstrating effective leadership, team management, and the ability to drive results.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, technical manuals, and specifications related to HVAC systems.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, enjoying working in the field with diverse teams on varied projects.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and HVAC software.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Salary Range: $120k - $130k
